Is dictation HIPAA-compliant?

Yes. Recordings, transcripts, and notes stay on the patient record inside Smile PreVue on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure under a Business Associate Agreement. Audio can be played back only by your signed-in team, opening a recording is logged, and it is deleted with the note, the patient, or the account.

How do I know an AI preview is accurate?

Every preview is graded automatically before you present it. A second AI model compares the finished image against the patient's original photo and the treatment you requested, checking that the face, framing, and lips were left alone, that only the teeth changed, and that the shade and realism match what you asked for. The result appears on the patient record as a Fidelity Score: Excellent, Good, or Review. A preview flagged for review can be regenerated with the specific correction already applied, and every earlier attempt is kept. Patients never see the score; it is a chairside check for you.
